Welcome to Grove Elementary.

A school where students can investigate, collaborate, and thrive. We are a place of radical acceptance of the things that make us unique, and we want students to feel essential to their learning community. Grove is meant to be a special place where students and families feel welcome, connected, cared about, and known.

What sets
Grove apart?

Personalized Learning Pathways

Personalized Learning Paths (PLPs) incorporate student strengths and interests, making learning more meaningful and engaging for every child.

Social Emotional Learning

Social and Emotional Learning is at the heart of our school life, helping us understand our feelings, connect with others, and make good choices, to create a friendly and supportive place for everyone.

Our Workshop Model

Our Workshop Model supports different ways of learning, gives students time to explore topics deeply, and encourages curiosity and teamwork across all subjects to make learning more meaningful and fun.

Our Core Values

Diversity: Our differences are our strengths. We honor the contributions of students, staff, families, and community partners to foster a school community that appreciates and welcomes varied perspectives and cultures.

Collaboration: Working together makes us a vibrant and engaged community. We each bring unique perspectives that contribute to our success as an organization.

Curiosity: Being curious inspires learning. We should explore things that spark our interests, we should ask questions, look for answers, and deepen our understanding by getting messy; learning is a journey.

Safety: We are all- students, staff, and families- able to be brave, take risks, and be our authentic selves.  We are a more powerful community when everyone is empowered to bring their experience, knowledge, language, culture, and background to the work we do without reservation.

Love, Compassion, and Joy: These belong in every classroom. We care about each other, and we believe that connection and care should be cornerstones of any school, and joy should be a part of the learning experience.

Strengths-Focused: Engaging our strengths as individuals and as a community unlocks possibilities.  Everyone has unique talents and makes valuable contributions to our classrooms, our school, the community, and the world. The job of educators is to elevate those strengths for students and empower them to grow.
